Teachers

We are two Mongolian language instructors, who have taught many students in both Mongolia and the U.S.

Saruul bagsh

Saruul Bagsh

Saruul works at the Library of Congress. He's also like a special teacher at the Mongolian University of Culture and Arts (MUCA). He knows a lot about the Mongolian language, stories, and culture, and he loves teaching them to others.

Naraa bagsh

Naraa Bagsh

Naraa teaches Mongolian at the University of Pennsylvania, but previously she taught Mongolian at the U.S State Department for 10 years. Oh, and she started the first-ever Mongolian language and culture summer camp in the U.S. How cool is that?

What our students say

"It was very easy to read and find information about Chingis Khan for non-native Mongolian speakers. Useful phrases to write down and the book gives great tips to learn more about Mongolian history."

-- Amarjargal B., student at Soyol Schule in Düsseldorf, Germany

"The book about the Mongolian history was very interesting. I learned a lot from it. The tasks were fun, and if I didn't understand something I just looked at the English text and understood it."

-- Tamira F., student at Soyol Schule in Düsseldorf, Germany

"This year we read the Secret History of the Mongols book. This was easier than the other Secret History of the Mongols book. It was interesting to me because it had simple sentences and was easier to understand. The online exercises were also fun."

-- Argabileg N., student at Soyol Schule in Düsseldorf, Germany
